Leah Marinelli, CNM, NP, RN
Leah Marinelli received her Nursing Degree at Rockland Community College, her B.S. in Women’s Health at SUNY Empire State College, her certificate degree in Nurse-Midwifery from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, and received her Master’s Degree in Midwifery from Downstate University Medical Center.
Leah has more than 12 years of experience in home birth as a home birth midwife, and prior to that as an assistant home birth midwife, childbirth educator and labor support doula. She is also currently a clinical maternity nursing professor for a local nursing school program. She brings a wealth of home birth expertise together with clinical hospital training, using both alternative and conventional healing arts in caring for women throughout the life cycle. Leah has been blessed to be the proud mother of six children, four born at home and two at free-standing birth centers; and two grandchildren, also born with midwives.
